Transportation Engineer – Mason City, IA
This position will work closely with the civil/transportation group on roadway geometrics, highway design, compiling construction documents and directing graphic technicians. Clients include IDOT and other municipal and private entities. Previous experience with IDOT projects is desired.  1-5 years of design experience with Microstation and Geopak (Corridor Modeler preferred). Requires BS in Civil Engineering and EIT (Iowa PE preferred).  Excellent computer and communication skills are required.

Senior Structural Engineer - Mason City, IA or Rochester, MN
This position will serve as a senior structural engineer on structural and related civil engineering projects, with emphasis on highway and other transportation related structures. Will be responsible for analysis and design of various types of DOT and other transportation related structures including bridges, box culverts, and retaining walls. Responsible for preliminary and final design; steel and concrete pre-stressed structures; preparation of contract documents and inspection of existing structures and those under construction. Must be familiar with AASHTO LRFD specifications. This position requires a minimum of 10+ years of bridge engineering design experience and requires Iowa / MN P.E. or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Water/Wastewater Engineer with 10+ years of engineering experience for the Rochester, MN location. The position requres a licensed Professional Engineer.

Municipal Department Manager - Mason City, IA
This position requires experience with site/utility design, roadway design, storm drainage, storm water management and erosion/sediment control, survey control and right-of-way. The Department Manager must be able to direct a staff of junior engineers, surveyors and technicians.  Must have the knowledge and skills to coordinate issues between private development clients and jurisdictional agencies involved in the land development process.  Develop conceptual plans, prepare and file processing documentation, coordinate public meetings, review construction documents, perform infrastructure analysis.  Client identification, marketing, and maintenance are important aspects of the position. Proven track record of successful project development or project management is required.  Must have excellent communication skills and motivation to operate effectively with minimal direct supervision.  Working knowledge of Iowa design policies and procedures a plus. Familiarity with AutoCAD or Micro Station a plus. Involvement with Iowa professional organizations a plus.  Requires 10 + years of experience in Municipal Engineering and Iowa P.E. or ability to obtain within 6 months.
