This position will work directly with licensed Civil and Senior Civil Engineers and assist them in the design and development of municipal, transportation, or structural related projects.

  • Perform construction observation which may include:
    • Physically performing field-required concrete or asphalt testing

Responsibilities Include:

Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyze and design wastewater collection, water distribution and stormwater management systems and facilities
  • Prepare engineering plans, plan specifications and other contract documents for the design of water/wastewater systems
  • Perform other design-related tasks, such as cost estimates, quantity calculations, and geometric calculations.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with WHKS staff to solve challenging engineering tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 0 – 5 years of experience in water/wastewater systems design
  • EI is required or willing to take FE exam within 6 months
  • Excellent computer and communication skills are required
  • Experience with Autocad Civil 3D or Microstation
  • Valid driver’s license
