Responsibilities Include:

Water/Wastewater Project Manager - Rochester

WHKS has an opportunity for a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to use their knowledge and skills in the design and management of water/wastewater projects in Minnesota and surrounding states. The successful candidate will be technically proficient, personable, and value a collaborative work environment focused on creating solutions for our clients and communities. Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee detailed studies, modeling and design of wastewater collection, water distribution and stormwater management systems and facilities
  • Oversee and prepare evaluation reports for water and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Prepare engineering plans, plan specifications and other contract documents for the design of water/wastewater systems
  • Manage multi-discipline projects involving survey, civil, geotechnical, electrical/ mechanical, and structural teams
  • Lead the production of design calculations and technical reports

WHKS & Co. has an exciting new opportunity for a Survey Crew Chief.  This is a fulltime position with approximately 70% of the role requiring the performance of field surveying.

Our Springfield office is growing and now has an opening for a professional engineer with transportation design experience in the Illinois market.  This is a great opportunity for the right person looking to apply and expand their expertise in the design of transportation and transportation related projects.  The successful candidate will effectively collaborate with other design professionals and clients throughout the design process.  Position reports to the Transportation Team Leader.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Roadway layout and design of streets and highways for state, county and municipal roadways.
  • Analysis and design of rural and urban roadway drainage systems.
  • Performing quantity calculations, geometric calculations, grading plans, utility layouts, and developing 3-D models using GEOPAK.
