WHKS provided survey and design services to Dover-Eyota Public Schools for track and field improvements consisting of an artificial turf athletic field and an eight-lane track.
The existing turf within the athletic field was removed and an artificial turf was constructed. A concrete curb was placed along the outer perimeter of the artificial turf surface to act as a barrier between the turf, grass, and track. The subsurface drainage system extended away from the field for discharge.
The existing aggregate track was removed and excavated to support the new eight lane track construction. The track consisted of aggregate base, bituminous, and a polyurethane mat.
